    Girls' Day
Girls' Day - Girls' Future Day is the largest career orientation project for schoolgirls worldwide. Since the project was launched in 2001, around 1.9 million girls have taken part.
Once a year on Girls'Day, companies, businesses and universities throughout Germany open their doors to female students from the 5th grade upwards. There, the girls learn about apprenticeships and courses of study in IT, crafts, natural sciences and technology, in which women have so far been rather seldom represented. The aim is to broaden the spectrum of career choices for girls and young women, particularly with regard to MINT professions and study subjects.
    Duration: 01.02.2001 - 30.06.2023
Funding: Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ); Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) and until 30.06.2014 funds from the European Social Fund
The day of action is also intended to draw the attention of the public and business to the strengths of girls and to open up new future prospects for this well-trained generation of young women.

    Digital Gender Gap
The study "Digital Gender Gap" is a special evaluation of the study D21-Digital-Index 2018 / 2019, which annually measures the degree of digitalisation of the German resident population aged 14 and over, resulting from the cooperation of the Initiative D21 and the Competence Centre Technology Diversity Gender Equality.

    Initiative stereotype-free
To enable girls and boys to choose a career and a course of study that is independent of clichés and gender stereotypes, but based on individual strengths and talents, that is the goal of the "Initiative Klischeefrei". It is committed to establishing gender-reflective career and study guidance nationwide.

    Duration: since July 2016
Funding: The service point of the "Initiative Klischeefrei" is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ).
Cooperation partner: Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB)

The initiative was launched in 2016 by the Federal Ministries of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and Education and Research (BMBF).
The initiative's service centre is located at the Kompetenzzentrum Technik-Diversity-Chancengleichheit e. V. and the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). It is a central point of contact that provides information for a stereotype-free choice of occupation and study, networks, advises and qualifies. The scientific and socio-political advisory board of the initiative is the "Forum". It is made up of five federal ministries, state ministries, the Federal Employment Agency, social partners and representatives from science, practice and business.

Future Workshop Municipalities - Attractive in Change

The aim of the new model project "Future Workshop Municipalities - Attractive in Change" (ZWK) is to accompany municipal administrations on their way to becoming "demographically resistant" municipalities. The project of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth runs from 1 May 2021 to 31 December 2024. The ZWK office is located at the Kompetenzzentrum Technik-Diversity-Chancengleichheit e. V. It is responsible for coordination, fund management and public relations.
The project aims to support municipalities in developing and implementing demographic strategies that cover the topic of integration and take into account all age groups in their respective situations. 40 municipalities, mainly from structurally weak regions, are to participate in the ZWK. A scientific advisory board will be set up for the model project.
