Propose concrete measures to support mothers.
Monitor and research policies affecting mothers
Analyze policy measures and communicate the views of mothers to be taken into account in the preparation of legislative and non legislative proposals
Represent the interests of our member associations
Create a network of organizations and individuals that share the mission and goals of MMM

As revealed by a survey we conducted with almost 12,000 mothers in Europe and published in 2011, supporting mothers who seek a better reconciliation between work and family life is our priority. For this reason, we are currently working on:

Promotion of flexible working conditions including telework, reducing working hours and flexible time schedules for both women and men
Taking unpaid family care work into account when calculating pensions (care credits)
Recognition and validation of skills acquired and / or developed in family care work to enable better reintegration into the labor market after a career break
Integrate this unpaid family care work into the calculation of the GDP of the countries and consider it as a complementary social indicator allowing the achievement of the points mentioned above
Conduct studies to assess the financial value of unpaid family work and demonstrate its contribution to the market economy
Promote the use by policy makers of accurate time-use surveys that demonstrate the value of this family work
