Goals / Remit
Metrc is a provider of an advanced software and radio-frequency (RFID) tagging identification system used by nearly 23 state regulators in the U.S. and Guam to track and trace cannabis plants and products. Metrc's system helps prevent inversion and diversion, increase product and public safety, and supports tax collection. Our services enable regulators to address complex issues in the design and enforcement of legalisation, including the protection of public health and protecting the regulated market against illicit products.
Our aim is to offer our experience working closely with US regulators and authorities, contribute to the EU conversations on regulatory frameworks related to cannabis and cannabis-related products and support development of effective regulation in the EU and member states.Main EU files targeted
