2.1. The objectives of the organization are:
2.1.1. improving the conditions of fish trade for the members of the Organization by improving the economic return;
2.1.2. to promote the stable and sustainable fishing activities of their members in full compliance with conservation policy, while taking into account social policy and participating in the management of marine biological resources;
2.1.3. to help ensure the traceability of fishery products and consumer access to clear and comprehensive information;
2.1.4. to prevent and reduce, as far as possible, unwanted catches without creating an outlet for catches below the minimum conservation reference size;
2.1.5. reduce the environmental impact of fishing, including through measures to improve gear selectivity;
2.1.6. assistance to members of the Organization in the modernization and operation of equipment;
