    Goals / Remit

    The Nanotechnology Industries Associaiton (NIA) is the sector-independent, responsible voice for the industrial nanotechnologies supply chains; it supports the ongoing innovation and commercialisation of the next generation of technologies and promotes their safe and reliable advancement.
    NIA stands for a framework of shared principles for the safe, sustainable, and socially supportive development and use of nanotechnologies; and a supportive regulatory environment for the continuous advancement and establishment of nanotechnology innovation.
    NIA members are active in the whole nano ecosystem, from companies to research institutes and universities, to the providers of lab equipment and collateral services supporting nanomaterials design, production, and successful commercialisation.
