We support the improvement of the current register with giving the names of individual lobbyists and providing precise and comparable financial information on lobbying. We believe that this register fails basic transparency standards and does not provide EU lobbying transparency. For a start, to provide real transparency, the register should be mandatory rather than voluntary .
