    Goals / Remit

    Advocate for the recognition and scale up of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies and practices as a necessary complement to the mitigation efforts on the way to reaching climate-neutrality by 2050 objectives. Support research to explore the deployment potential, cost and side effects of each CDR method. Promote adoption of national or EU-wide policy instruments for deployment of a full portfolio of CDR technologies, nature-based and circular solutions best suited to national/local conditions and circumstances. Collect and share high quality and up-to-date data about negative emissions technologies progress in the EU and globally.
