Goals / Remit
We create opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship among youth to support and advance the Greek Agrifood sector. We build capacity, expand advisory networks, nurture innovation, support business development, and encourage collaboration and dialogue.
Main EU files targeted
Our organization is targeting the 'Farm to Fork' strategy
Specific pillars:
- Ensuring sustainable food production
- Ensuring food security
- Stimulating sustainable food processing, wholesale, retail, hospitality and food services practices
Our organization is collaborating with the Greek Ministry for Rural Development and Food, participating as a technical advisor in a number of its agrifood and CAP related committees.
Furthermore, we are streamlining the AKIS methodology in our activities (being pioneers in this matter in Greece) and have been selected to participate in the event "Farming’s got talent! Vocational education and training for agriculture in transition", organized by DG Agri and held in Brussels on 24/11/2022. In the context of this visit, we are holding meetings with selected EU officials so as to present our activities, and discuss on further ways of influencing the Farm to Fork strategy on a national and European level.Address
