    NovaBiotics Ltd is a leading clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on leveraging its novel immunology platforms to design and develop first-in-class therapies to address difficult-to-treat, medically unmet diseases.
    We are in the midst of a worsening global antimicrobials resistance (AMR) crisis. There is an urgent need for new classes of antibacterial, antifungal and other antimicrobial treatments to address range of challenging infectious diseases that can no longer be resolved with existing drugs. The Company’s advanced portfolio of therapeutic candidates target life-threatening and life-limiting diseases in the inflammation, infection and respiratory space.

    We believe that financial incentives are needed to help implementation of R&D actions (PUSH) and fixing the broken market for AMR related products (PULL). This will greatly enable industry to retain focus on developing innovative AMR solutions. As an SME, we are a core part of the AMR innovation pipeline and hope to be part of the conversation to enable our work to continue. Main interests lie in

    Communication activities

    As a founding member of the BEAM Alliance, NovaBiotics maintains interactions with stakeholders involved in the fight against AMR at the EU level (European Commission and Parliament) as well as international (WHO, UN IACG, Global AMR R&D Hub, etc.) and national (ministries of health and research) levels. Furthermore, as a member of the BEAM Alliance, NovaBiotics contributes to position papers that are shared with EU officials and policy makers to convey the industry’s priorities; it supports the association’s participation in public consultations; and it participates in conferences and forums on the topic of AMR (e.g. AMR Conference https://amr-conference.com/).
