    Goals / Remit

    The vision of the Novo Nordisk Foundation is to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet. The Foundation has defined three focus areas for its philanthropic activities towards 2030: Health, Sustainability and the Life Science Ecosystem, each of which contains four strategic themes. Among the NNF activities:
    - Progress research and innovation in prevention and treatment of cardiometabolic and infectious diseases
    - Advance knowledge and solutions to support the green transition in society and with emphasis on agriculture & food system
    - Invest in scientific research, education and innovation to enable a world class life science ecosystem
