    Die Open Search Foundation führt Projekte und Aktivitäten zur Schaffung der wissenschaftlich-technischen und gesellschaftlichen
    Grundlagen einer offen und freien Internet-Suche für und in Europa durch. Sie fördert durch ihr Wirken die Schaffung der
    wissenschaftlich-technischen und gesellschaftlichen Voraussetzungen für eine offene Internet-Suche. Sie arbeitet hierfür über ihre
    Außenwirkung und Netzwerke auf eine breite gesellschaftliche Sensibilisierung sowie die Schaffung der rechtlich-organisatorischen
    Rahmenbedingungen einer offenen und freien Internet-Suche in und für Europa hin. Dies geschieht auf Grundlage der europäischen
    Rechts- und Werteordnung und zur Stärkung des Rechts auf informationelle Selbstbestimmung sowie des Rechts auf Privatsphäre im
    Internet. Sie hat zum Ziel, entsprechend der zunehmenden Bedeutung der Digitalsphäre, Grundlagen zu erforschen und zu entwickeln,
    damit der Zugang zu Internetinformation für Europa demokratisch und wirtschaftlich unabhängi (...)
