    Le Comité de Liaison des Orthoptistes de la Communauté Européenne (OCE), a pour vocation de collecter et de présenter aux autorités européennes et aux pays membres des renseignements sur la profession d'Orthoptiste. Elle a également pour mission de promouvoir l'harmonisation de l'enseignement d'Orthoptie en Europe et de défendre l'identité professionnelle.
    L´OCE a été fondée dans ce but et une "Enquête Professionnelle" ainsi qu'un "dossier d’évaluation" ont été publiés.
