    Goals / Remit

    The PolyStyreneLoop project will
    demonstrate how PS value-chain partners
have a strong desire to contribute to the
Circular Economy and meet the requirements
    by ensuring technically, economically and
    environmentally sustainable recycling.
We aim to built a plant in 2019 for a capcity of 3300 mtons/y of polystyrene foam containing a restricted substance /flame retardant HBCD. The polystyrene will be recovered and put back in the same application- upcycling. The HBCD is separated and afterwards destrcuted and the bromine is recovered
