    Public Power Corporation S.A. (PPC S.A.) is Greece’s largest electricity generator with an installed capacity of 11GW. Providing electricity to more than 6 million customers, PPC S.A. has played a critical role in Greece’s energy infrastructure for over 70 years. PPC S.A. is committed to an ambitious energy transition plan and is undergoing a major transformation to become a sustainable, digital and future-oriented energy utility. In addition, PPC S.A. is committed to delivering one of the fastest lignite phase-out programmes of any European country.

    PPC S.A.’s portfolio consists of thermal power plants as well as hydroelectric power plants and RES installations. In addition to significantly expanding its renewables portfolio in Greece, PPC S.A. is investing in other areas such as electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage, and hydrogen. PPC S.A. is also active in electricity distribution, holding a 51% share in the Greek distribution system operator HEDNO.
