    Der RfII ist ein im November 2014 gegründetes Expertengremium, das Empfehlungen zur Gestaltung zukunftsfähiger Informationsinfrastrukturen und -dienstleistungen für die Wissenschaft erabeitet. Die Empfehlungen richten sich an den Bund, die Länder und die Wissenschaft in Deutschland. Die Mitglieder des RfII sind ehrenamtlich tätig.
