    Saab is a leading partner to the OCEAN2020 Consortia for the first EU demonstrator launched under the PADR.

    Saab is actively participating in several EDIDP-projects and EDF-projects.

    Saab holds regular thematic seminars & workshops with a wide range of stakeholders at EU and national levels with a view to promote continous and better understanding of the functioning of the European defence industrial base, innovation and competitiveness within the defence industry and the need for a Level Playing Field between on the one hand, defence industries in domestic markets where the State is more protective of their defence industry (i.e. less liberalised markets), and on the other hand defence industries in domestic markets where the State is less protective of their defence industry (i.e. more liberalised markets).

    Saab has estbablished itself as the only European Defence Company that is holding a High-Level Annual EU Seminar in Brussels addressing topics and issues of relevance to the European defence industry. In 2022, Saab will hold its 14th Annual Seminar.

    Saab is also active in seminars, work-shops and expert groups organised by the European Commission, the EDA, the European Council and the European Parliament as well as the NATO.

    Saab is moreover active and a pro-active stakeholder as a member within the Aerospace and Defence Industries Asssociation of Europe (ASD) and its work and voice in relation to the EU institutions.
