SAZKA Group a.s. is one of the largest consumer gaming holding companies in Europe. Its business is focused on lottery and sports betting. SAZKA Group a.s. is the sole owner of the Czech lottery company SAZKA and has significant shareholdings in the Greek lottery OPAP, LOTTOITALIA and Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries. SAZKA Group a.s. strives to bring innovation to the lottery and gaming industry; the vision is to continue expanding whilst adhering to responsible gaming principles, in particular by providing customers with entertainment and life-changing opportunities in a responsible, professional and efficient manner, while having a positive impact on the societies in which it operates. Responsibility is one of the key differentiators of how the SAZKA Group a.s. operates lotteries and other gaming activities compared to other forms of competition, illegal competition in particular. Approval and implementation of the Regulation on Promoting fairness and transparency for users of online intermediation services;
New Deal for Consumers Package: Approval of the proposal for a directive on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers, and repealing Directive and approval and implementation of the directive amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC of 5 April 1993, Directive 98/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, Directive 2005/29/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards better enforcement and modernisation of EU consumer protection rules;
Proposal for a directive laying down rules relating to the corporate taxation of a significant digital presence COM (2018) 0072 and proposal for a directive on the common system of a digital services tax on revenues resulting from the provision of certain digital services COM (2018) 0073;
Implementation of the regulation on ENISA - Cybersecurity act (Com (2017) 477);
