Goals / Remit
At Signum Global we produce predictive research on political developments. We also host events with policy-makers in the US, the EU and the UK to better understand geopolitical developments.
We are research and insights providers. Signum Global does not represent its clients to EU institutions, nor does it act as an intermediary for clients seeking to affect EU policy, legislation nor the implementation of legislation. We are interested in the key areas of EU policy making that relate to current affairs and set the geopolitical agenda of the day.
Specifically in regards of the Green Deal, we are interested in understanding the political, economic and financial implications of the Carobon Border Adjustment Mechanism, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive as well as the Amendment to the Renewable Energy Directive to implement the ambition of the new 2030 climate target.
In regards to competition policy, we also care about the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act.
Beyond these policies, we seek to understand how the war in Ukraine is changing political priorities in the EU and what it means for the bloc's 'strategic autonomy' and relations with the US and China.Address
