    Other financial info

It is very hard to estimate how much SIX spends on EU 'lobbying', but this is the most realistic figure available, and includes the subscriptions to the associations mentioned above.

the increase compare to 2015 is mainly driven by hiring a new Employee which is more present in Bruxelles (without maintaining an office location) than before.

    Other activities

While SIX employees do not directly participate in Commission and Parliament committees and working groups, we seek to influence the EU agenda through our membership of European Trade Associations such as EACG, ECSDA, FESE, ICMA etc. In addition, bilateral meetings take place directly between SIX officials and those from the EU institutions.

Beside of that, SIX have meanwhile 2 Badges for access to the European Parliament (one on the name of Mr. Matthias Heer, one on the name of Mr. Urs Wieland)
