Goals / Remit
The Chamber of Commerce of Sweden & Norway is a non profit business organization established on the initiative of high level executives to create an organization able to serve as platform for strengthening the institutional, economic, scientific and cultural relationships between Nordic and W. Balkan countries.
Main objectives
Coordinate and facilitate activities to develop cooperation between concerned regions
Establish concrete relations, cooperation, technology and knowhow transfer, between state bodies, universities and other organizations, as W. Balkan are pre- and candidate countries for membership in EU
In communication with state authorities advocating of international regulatory environment that directly affect business environment
Enhance free market and international trade
Active in the field of renewable energy with aim to develop stable and sustainable regulative framework, enhance renewable particularly solar energy and increase awareness of its positive effectsMain EU files targeted
Focus activities are oriented toward monitoring and evaluating the legislative and business environment. They try to supply interested companies or other organizations with useful information and advice in a particular concerning area. In order to share ideas and strategies for dealing with common business-related concerns, cooperation with other chambers, mostly Nordic is established.
