The Green Tank is an independent, non-profit think tank, which aims to present well-documented proposals and to advance policy solutions for a sustainable future.
Our actions relate to the three pillars of sustainable development: environment – economy – society, with emphasis on a) biodiversity conservation and the sustainable management of natural resources and ecosystems; b) climate change mitigation, decarbonization and shift to renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and energy saving; c) climate change adaptation; d) transition towards a sustainable economy; e) social well-being and cohesion and the improvement of people’s quality of life.Main EU files targeted
The Green Tank follows a range of EU initiatives, policy and legislative files that relate to environment protection, including but not limited to biodiversity and nature conservation, sustainable management of natural resources, climate mitigation and adaptation, energy policy, just transition, cohesion and regional policy, rural development policy, and sustainable development policy.
