Goals / Remit
The Slovak Alliance for Innovation Economy (SAPIE) has been set up to represent the needs of global and local Internet and innovative companies, improve the state of IT education, boost the startup ecosystem and help companies scale to the global level. Among our members are tech giants as well as globally successful Slovak companies and rising stars.
SAPIE acts as an industry body for these companies, representing them towards policy makers, creates national and regional partnerships and advocates for innovation.Main EU files targeted

Communication activities
SAPIE has been working very closely with Slovak Ministry of Finance and Economy on creating the startup strategy for Slovakia offering expertise and feedback to policy makers. We have worked closely with the British Embassy in Slovakia as well as Slovak entrepreneurs on a list of recommendations to improve the state of e-commerce in Slovakia. We are also active as speakers and experts at various national forums on innovation and entrepreneurship policies.
