    Die Thyssengas GmbH ist ein unabhängiger zertifizierter Fernleitungsnetzbetreiber mit seinem Hauptsitz in Dortmund. Das Transportnetz hat eine Länge von rund 4.400 Kilometern. Dazu kommen technische Großanlagen, wie zum Beispiel die Verdichterstation in Ochtrup. Die Gasinfrastruktur reicht von der Nordseeküste bis ins Siegerland und ist an wichtige Erdgasimportpunkte angebunden. Jährlich transportiert das Unternehmen bis zu 6 Milliarden Kubikmeter Erdgas zu Verteilnetzbetreibern (VNB), Industriebetrieben und Kraftwerken von der holländischen Grenze bis zum Sauerland und von der Nordseeküste bis nach Köln/Bonn, sowie Richtung Aachen.
