Goals / Remit
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change supports political leaders and governments to build open, inclusive and prosperous societies in a globalised world. We do this through developing policy and advising government. We work with reformist leaders on strategy and delivery in developing and emerging states to enhance their effectiveness. We work to reinvigorate the centre ground of politics, reframing debates and providing solutions to issues such as extremism to the challenges of the technological revolution.
Over the past 18 months, our efforts have pivoted towards equipping leaders in responding to Covid-19. Our Government Advisory Practice is directly supporting leaders in their on-the-ground fight against Covid-19, and our Policy Futures unit is delivering analysis and advice to help countries mitigate economic impact, source essential equipment, harness the power of technology and position themselves for the rebuilding to come.Main EU files targeted
TBI currently follows EU initiatives, policies and legislative files relevant to international development and humanitarian responses, including the Sustainable Development Goals, EU budget and EU development policies.
