Goals / Remit
A public university open to the world and anchored in the scientific, cultural and economic development of its region, ULiège welcomes more than 25,000 students, a quarter of whom are of international origin, plus 3,500 teachers and researchers, and offers one of the most diversified educational offers in French-speaking Belgium.
ULiège has established collaborations with more than 1,000 international institutions, integrating itself into vast academic and scientific networks. It is a fully committed stakeholder in the European Research and Education Area. In addition, ULiège qualifies for ECTS, DS and HR Strategy for Researchers labels granted by the European Commission, which guarantee the quality of the support provided to students and researchers.
