    Goals / Remit

    WSRW's principal purpose is to monitor and comment about the taking of natural resources from the Non-Self-Governing-Territory of Western Sahara, and to address related human rights abuses and environmental protection issues.

    Main EU files targeted

    WSRW works to ensure that EU policies affecting Western Sahara and the UN peace process pertaining to the territory, are carried out in conformity with applicable EU case law and international law. Our work spans policy areas that include International Trade, Development, Fisheries, Human Rights, Foreign Affairs and Consumer Affairs, Renewable Energy, among others, with a particular focus on EU-Morocco and EU-Maghreb relations.
