    Goals / Remit

WUWM is an international network of fresh food and products organizations. Together with 220 members in over 40 countries, WUWM’s mission is to lead international efforts to ensure food security and safety and provide healthy diets in a sustainable, inclusive, and consistent way.

WUWM is continuously examining ways to upgrade the industry so that it can meet the challenges of the 21st century, including a more green agricultural sector and the pursuit to a climate-neutral food supply chain. WUWM facilitates the exchange of ideas, sharing of best practices and providing insights that advocate for better and more easily accessible food. WUWM operates by organizing two or three conferences a year, has regional groups (Americas, Europe, Asia) that regularly meet and discuss, and organizes workshops, webinars, reports, campaigns to promote the sector and a transition to sustainability.
