    Goals / Remit

    The AAE brings together the actuarial associations in the European Union to represent the actuarial profession in discussion with the European Union institutions on existing and proposed EU legislation which has an impact on the profession.

    Advice and comments provided by the AAE on behalf of the European actuarial profession are totally independent of industry interests.

    The AAE also provides a forum for discussion amongst all actuarial associations throughout Europe. The Groupe currently has thirty-seven member associations in thirty-six European countries, representing about 29,000 actuaries.
