    Goals / Remit

    Alliance for Public Awareness engages in various activities to provide public awareness on issues relating to human rights and democracy, civil liberties, foreign policy, and other public issues in Europe related to Iran and the region, within the framework of European law.
    Our members and activists are engaged in community work on issues related to Europe and world affairs.
    -Promotion of tolerance among different cultures and rejecting any kind of fundamentalism and extremism, in particular Islamic fundamentalism.
    -Promoting public awareness about the dangers spread by fundamentalism and its consequences for the people of Europe and the world over.
    -Inform the public of the true desire of the people in the Middle Ease and in particular Iran for peace, security, democratic values and good relation with the world community.
    -To inform the public of Iran’s rich and ancient culture and civilization.
    To achieve these goals we organize cultural, educational and other public events.

    1. Combating Discrimination and Promoting Religious Freedom:

    Initiatives addressing discrimination based on religion or belief through public policies and papers. Efforts aimed at safeguarding the rights and freedoms of individuals from diverse religious backgrounds. Promotion of understanding, tolerance, and acceptance across various religious groups.

    2. EU-Iran Relations and Diplomatic Communication:

    Publications and policies outlined by the External Relations and Foreign Affairs Council concerning the European Union's interactions with Iran. Comprehensive examination of EU's engagement, negotiations, and collaborations with Iran on a diplomatic level. Insights into strategies to manage challenges and foster mutual cooperation in the context of EU-Iran relations.

    3. Cultural Engagement in European Parliament's External Relations:

    Examination of the role of culture within the External Relations branch of the European Parliament. Comprehensive final report highlighting the significance of cultural aspects in international relations. A series of detailed country reports exploring cultural dynamics and their impact on external relations.

    4. Strengthening Equality:

    Initiatives to uphold and strengthen equal rights for all individuals. Collaborative efforts among member bodies to combat discrimination in various domains, including gender, religion, and more. Sharing of best practices, research, and policy recommendations to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

    We also aim to strengthen EU legislation on human rights and democracy in Iran including in relation to the following two adopted texts, and similar future texts:
