    L’Automobile Club d'Italia è una realtà concreta al fianco di cittadini ed automobilisti. Sempre al passo con le esigenze contemporanee, l'ACI dedica il proprio impegno alle tematiche della mobilità e fornisce ai cittadini una vasta gamma di opportunità e servizi. L’ACI, nella qualità di Ente pubblico non economico, privo di finalità di lucro e classificato di alto rilievo ai sensi della legge 20 marzo 1975, n. 70, rientrante nel novero delle amministrazioni pubbliche ai sensi dell’articolo 1, comma 2, del decreto legislativo 30 marzo 2001, n. 165, nel quadro dell’assetto del territorio collabora, da oltre 50 anni, con le Autorità e gli Organismi italiani, - e disponendo di 98 uffici territoriali e oltre 4000 delegazioni - può svolgere, sul territorio nazionale un’attività capillare di informazione sulle tematiche europee, al fine di facilitarne l’integrazione.

    L'Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) rappresenta le esigenze degli automobilisti italiani presso l'Unione Europea attraverso il suo ufficio di Bruxelles e partecipa attivamente alle iniziative dell'Ufficio Europeo della FIA. L'obiettivo è garantire che gli interessi degli automobilisti e dei turisti italiani siano adeguatamente rappresentati nella legislazione comunitaria riguardante mobilità, ambiente, turismo, sicurezza stradale e tutela dei consumatori.
    Attualmente, l'ACI segue con particolare attenzione le seguenti politiche e iniziative dell'UE:
    - European Green Dea
    - Fit for 55.
    - Revisione della Direttiva 1999/62/CE ("Direttiva Eurobollo")
    - Strategia dell'UE per il Turismo Sostenibile
    - Pacchetto "New Deal for Consumers"
    Attraverso un coinvolgimento attivo nelle discussioni e nei processi decisionali a livello europeo, l'ACI si impegna a rappresentare e proteggere gli interessi degli automobilisti e dei turisti italiani, assicurando che le politiche dell'UE riflettano le loro esigenze e preoccupazioni.

    L’ACI (Automobile Club d’Italia) disciplina lo sport automobilistico in Italia attraverso varie categorie che rispondono al nome di velocità in circuito, kart, rally, slalom, fuoristrada e perfino una scuola di pilotaggio. Per far sì che questo avvenga, l’ACI promuove di continuo eventi sul territorio italiano e dal 1905 è affiliato alla FIA, Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, attraverso cui gestisce manifestazioni di carattere internazionale. L’ACI è riconosciuto dalla FIA come l’unica Autorità nazionale in Italia per lo sport automobilistico.
