    Goals / Remit

    CEMA is the European association representing the agricultural machinery industry. It represents and promotes the interests of this industry sector on a European level by co-ordinating the views of the national associations and their members. It provides know-how of the sector to the European institutions and other organizations to achieve a fair competitive environment via harmonized standards and regulations. It also informs members about the latest developments in related European legislation.

    CEMA is a European network consisting of a Secretariat in Brussels and the National Association offices in the different countries. While the coordinating function is with the Secretariat in Brussels, much of the work of CEMA is conducted by staff of the national associations and also industry representatives. Meetings at European institutions are often followed by members of the CEMA Secretariat and staff of the national associations.
