Goals / Remit
CMI is developing a platform for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sales to international markets on behalf of certain Cheniere Affiliates.
- Scale up for > 5 mtpa including LNG purchases from CMI's affiliate terminals and other places.
- Development of short, mid-term LNG sales on Free On Board or Delivered Ex Ship basis, based on affiliates SPAs with Sabine Pass Liquefaction and Corpus Christi Liquefaction for LNG volumes not under long-term contract with other parties.
- Has access to 3 LNG vessels with deliveries in 2015 and 2016 to fulfil requirements of LNG sales on Delivered Ex Ship basis.
- Developing complementary, high-value markets through small-scale asset investments.
- Professional staff in London interacting closely with affiliate staff in Houston, Santiago, and Singapore.Main EU files targeted
