    Goals / Remit

The Climate Markets and Investment Association (CMIA) is the voice of the climate finance and services community.
Governments and policy makers across the world recognise CMIA as a leader amongst progressive trade associations with regards to incentivising low-carbon economically efficient investments through market mechanisms, pre-compliance markets, and finance solutions.

CMIA's strength lies in the broad experience of its membership base and the comprehensive technical expertise of its secretariat. CMIA utilises this to help inform international policy makers, government departments and key law makers to develop cost-effective market & finance solutions to combat climate change.

The CMIA membership and our wider stakeholder group includes international investment banks, venture capitalists, project developers, technology providers, law firms, ratings agencies, retail solution providers, consultancies and verifiers.
