    EU Transparency Register

    876316949684-60 First registered on 04 Apr 2023

    Goals / Remit

CEPYME is the most representative employers' organization of small and medium-sized companies in Spain, which account for 99.8% of companies in the country, 70% of employment and 69% of GDP.

Its objective is to defend the interests of the companies it represents in all areas of business activity.

    Main EU files targeted

In recent times, CEPYME has been focused on the "Late Payment Directive 2011/7/UE", and in the public process to sent comments, but it is only one of the aspects of the legislation in which the Confederation is interested, taking into account that we represents a large number of the spanish companies in each sector of activity.

Nowdays, CEPYME is interested in the Proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on combating late payment in commercial transactions (Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs).

Other issue in which CEPYME is interested today is the "electronic invoice".

Any EU policy that impacts small and medium-sized Spanish companies may be of interest to CEPYME.
