Goals / Remit
Alongside ICCROM and the IUCN, ICOMOS is the official advisory body of the World Heritage Committee and in this context assumes expert tasks in matters of World Heritage inscription and in the evaluation of existing World Heritage sites. To this end, ICOMOS Germany works together with the relevant local and regional authorities, both in Germany and abroad.
