Goals / Remit
Created in 2000 by French and Dutch partners (Lorraine de Bouchony, Mireille van der Graaf and Nicolas Gerschel), Welcomeurope has been the first pan-European platform of services on European funds.
Goal : offering an intermediary tool between EU institutions and organisations on the ground to better communicate and be part of the EU building, by developing collaborative projects and actions aswering EU policies ambitions.
Welcomeurope competences at internal level offer expertise on European programmes directly managed by the European Commission, European structural funds at local-regional-national levels (internal resources and network of correspondents all through EU), and external aid cooperation funds.Main EU files targeted
