Goals / Remit
Estonian Renewable Energy Association is founded by the main renewable energy producers in Estonia and associations from different renewable energy sectors such as biogas, biomass, hydro, solar and wind.
Estonian Renewable Energy Association covers all renewable energy sectors in Estonia, including electricity, heating and cooling. Estonia has no biofuel producers and therefore there is no representation association.
The EREA’s main goal is to contribute to the wider deployment of renewable energy in Estonia and set a long-term goal of full transition to renewable sources of energy in Estonia.
The association would like to develop a constructive dialogue with the government and elected representatives of the public, and would like to be engaged in debate over the future of various aspects of energy policy in Estonia. Furthermore, the association considers it important to engage the public in debates over the impact of renewable energy developments and to take further action to ensure a wider deployment of renewable energy.Main EU files targeted
