    Communication activities

Relevant policy implementation, public relations and communication activities such as projects, events and publications:

Our activities are research-based; we use EU research and findings to advise our clients on business strategy. Occasions where we have been in contact with EU institutions on behalf of our clients for research purposes, include: Tours in 2016 the GSMA Mobile World Congress to the European Internet Forum, in which IPG organised and delivered tours of the Mobile World Congress for Members of the European Parliament; with the objective of connecting senior decision makers with stakeholders to engage in a meaningful dialogue and answer questions on topics such as industry trends, and sector regulatory and public policy points. We then provided follow up messages to send to MEPs which included a summary of the main points of the tours. The dialogue was related to three main EU regulations, which were: Renewable energy directive 2009/28/EC( n)General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679)( n)Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC (Medical devices directive). We also, when needed, create stakeholder maps for clients. For example, in 2015 one for our previous client Aqualogy UK, mapping out possible influencers such as DEFRA and the Environment Agency, as well as Financial Regulators such as Ofwat.
