Goals / Remit
Braskem Netherlands is a chemical and plastics producer, with a growing commercial footprint in Europe and Asia. Our goals are develop a circular economy for plastic products by offering our customers a growing portfolio of renewably-sourced sustainable materials. Our commercial objectives are to grow our production capabilities globally, but particularly in Europe and Asia, especially with regard to bio-based and recycled plastics. In terms of our strategic goals, we believe the EU will lead the way in creating a harmonized regulatory approach for sustainable chemicals and plastics, based on life cycle thinking. Our aim is to monitor and contribute to the development of conditions and regulation that promotes the development of a carbon neutral circular economy.

We are obviously mainly interested in any regulatory or legislative measures that cover plastics: the Green Deal, the Circular Economy Package, REACH etc.
