Equinox: November 2020 - July 2021
The Equinox initiative for Racial Justice is a people of colour led advocacy project with solidarity and empowerment at its heart. The key objective is to capitalise on the increased momentum and renewed political will towards anti-racism initiatives at the EU level and positively influence the implementation of the recent EU Action Plan on Anti-Racism (APAR), by ensuring that the communities affected by its goals are included in its execution.
ASR WEEK Brussels: Civil-Society workshops on Anti-Racist Organising in Europe, March 2019
Ahead of the European Parliament elections, and together with the European Network Against Racism (ENAR), the European Parliament Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup (ARDI), and the European Network for People of African Descent (ENPAD) EOTO organised a 3-day programe for European anti-racist activists proactively working to combat racist narratives in the European Parliament elections.
PAD WEEK Brussels: May 2018
PAD WEEK Brussels was the first ever People of African Descent Week in the European Parliament. It was a key initiative to increase awareness of the 15 million people of African descent living in Europe and to earnestly discuss solutions to address the racial discrimination and violence they face. The Week consisted precisely of a series of panel discussions events featuring leading experts, civic activists, and key policy-makers. As a desired result of the conference, the European Parliament resolution on fundamental rights of people of African descent was adopted.
PAD Week is a joint initiative of the European Parliament Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup (ARDI), Transatlantic Minority Political Leadership Conference (TMPLC), the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) and EOTO.
The next PAD WEEK will take place in 2022.

In the large online survey Black, African and Afro-diasporic people were invited to share their life realities, discrimination experiences and perspectives for the first time.
The aim of #AFROZENSUS is to obtain as comprehensive a picture as possible of the experiences of people of African descent in Germany, how they assess their lives in Germany and what they expect from politics and society. The results of the #AFROZENSUS online survey will be made available to communities and policy-makers.
PAD WEEK Germany: November 2019
The PAD (People of African Descent) WEEK is a civil society conference by and for people of African descent.
On the first day, Black, African and Afro-diasporic organizations drew attention to the situation of about one million people of African descent living in Germany for the first time in the German Bundestag. On the second day, the PAD communities exchanged experiences with other groups affected by racism. The last day concluded with an empowerment program by, with and for people of African descent. For this, more than 30 PAD organizations from across the country joined forces. Inspired by the PAD Week at the European Parliament 2018, the conference with about 200 participants focused on capacity building of Black communities in Germany, networking of science, business and politics and dialogue of Black civil society with the administration.
