Goals / Remit
Ecocem is a leading provider of high performance low carbon cement technologies in Europe. It has been operating for approximately 20 years and its modus operandi has been to provide Ground Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) to the construction industry as an alternative to traditional cement. Ecocem has provided Europe's lowest carbon cement used at scale and is provides low carbon solutions to many of Europe's largest projects.
Through its highly successful innovation programme, Ecocem has created new products that have the potential to reduce the global footprint of the cement industry by up to 70%. It is with these new products in mind that Ecocem is engaging with the EU in order to explain the benefits of accelerating their progress through the convoluted standards systems.Main EU files targeted
