    Goals / Remit

    With 50 years’ experience, Enagás is an international standard bearer in the development, operation and maintenance of gas infrastructures. It carries out its activities in eight countries.

    In Spain, Enagás is the leading natural gas transmission company and Technical Manager of the Spanish gas system. It has around +11,000 Km of high pressure gas pipelines, three underground storage facilities and four liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification plants. It also owns 50% and 72.5% respectively of two additional Spanish regasification terminals.
    Enagás mission is to develop and manage gas infrastructures in a secure, efficient and environmentally responsible manner, helping to ensure security of supply.

    Enagás, deeply committed with the energy transition, boosts and develops national and international projects to contribute to the decarbonisation process such as renewable gases (hydrogen and biomethane), energy efficiency, gas in maritime transport, etc.

    In general Enagás targets any EU Regulatory and Policy Development having a direct or indirect impact on the gas transmission, storage and LNG business as well as on the Spanish and EU gas industry.
