EURALARM

EURALARM is the only European trade association representing the European Fire Safety and Security industry engaged in manufacturing, installing and servicing fire safety and security products and systems. EURALARM supports the process of globalisation of the market and specifically the goal of the European Union to establish a European market free of barriers to trade. Accordingly EURALARM is striving to support a voluntary one stop testing and certification process for products, systems and services based on European standards. Compliance shall be testified by a pan-European Quality Mark which will be promoted globally.

The head of Euralarm is the President Mr. Jon Koenz accompanied by the three vice presidents , Mr. Oscar Feijoo Jimenez (Chairman of the Section Security), Mr. Robert Thilthorpe (Chairman of the Section Services)and Mr Alan Elder (Chairman of the Section Extinguishing).
The Euralarm Board and the entire association is supported by a professional team ie. Julie Hanson (General Secretary), Paul van der Zanden (General Director), Michael Scharnowsky and Benoit Stockbroeckx (Technical Managers), Martin Franke (communication)
