    Goals / Remit

EPLO is the largest independent platform of European NGOs, networks of NGOs and think tanks active in the field of peacebuilding, who share an interest in promoting sustainable peacebuilding policies among decision-makers in the EU. EPLO aims to influence the EU so that it promotes and implements measures which lead to sustainable peace between states and within states and peoples, and which transform and resolve conflicts non-violently. EPLO advances the interests of its members through common policy positions and advocating for those common positions. EPLO disseminates information and promotes understanding of EU policies of concern to its members. EPLO also builds solidarity and co-operation amongst its member organisations and with other relevant NGO networks. EPLO raises awareness about the contribution that the EU should make to peacebuilding, and the need to hold the EU accountable to its own political commitments of helping to secure peace within and outside its borders.

The list below covers meetings with Commissioners/Cabinet members/Directors-general (high-level) Commission meetings published December 2014 to December 2024, and the meetings of Commissioners/Cabinet members/Directors-general and officials holding "management functions" in the Commission published since 1 January 2025. Other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may well have taken place, but the Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. All information below comes from the Commission and not from the registrant.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
