Goals / Remit
INEOS Phenol is the largest producer of phenol and acetone in the world, with production facilities spanning Europe and America. Our global manufacturing capacity is just under 1.9 million tonnes of phenol and ca. 1.2 million tonnes of acetone annually. Our markets are growing worldwide. Through selective investments in new assets and new technology, we intend to capture this growth to develop our business and grow with our customers. The key applications for phenol and acetone are in the production of polycarbonates, plastics, phenolic resins, synthetic fibres and solvents. These products are used in a diverse range of end-markets including the automotive, construction, electronics and fibre industries.
