    Goals / Remit

Infarm was founded in 2013 in Berlin and has since become one of the world’s largest vertical farming networks. By establishing plant growth facilities close to urban centers and retail distribution hubs, Infarm is helping cities become self-sufficient in their food production, while significantly improving the safety, quality, and environmental footprint of our food.
Through cutting edge R&D and patented technologies, Infarm can deploy urban farms fast and produce large volumes of fresh produce in a sustainable, safe & cost-effective way. With our modular farming approach, multiple crops can grow under the same roof, 365 days a year at the same quality, while using zero chemical pesticides and consuming significantly less land, less water and less miles to get to the consumers.
