Goals / Remit
The International Federation of Film Distributors’ Associations (FIAD) represents national associations of film distributors operating in the majority of European Union Member States as well as globally.
FIAD members cover a range of different companies from SMEs specialised in art house films to larger companies dealing with mainstream films. These companies are involved in several aspects of film distribution: marketing, dubbing, subtitling, advertising and prints. Some also manage video and television rights and have activities in film production and theatrical exhibition. With such a representative and multi-national industry, it is important for the association to represent distributors’ interests at the European level.Main EU files targeted
