In IPSSA, the leading international companies are working together to educate the public about the benefits of integrating plant sterols / plant stanols in the daily diet and to foster the implementation of healthy diet and lifestyle choices to reduce blood LDL-cholesterol. We are thus convinced that we can actively contribute to lowering the risk of coronary heart disease and to healthy living for all.
We believe that a healthy lifestyle is a choice for consumers that enables them to live longer and healthier lives by reducing the risk of heart disease and plant sterols and plant stanols can contribute in a crucial way. It is our purpose to educate the public accordingly and to ensure that consumers realize this very significant choice that is available to them

EU health policy, healthy nutrition and active lifestyle, reduction of risk of developing cardiovascular disease, initiatives to combat non-communicable diseases (emphasis on cardiovascular disease) in EU, reduction of blood LDL-cholesterol levels in the EU population
