    Goals / Remit

Li-Cycle is a leading lithium battery recycling and resource recovery company. We are on a mission to leverage our innovative Spoke & Hub Technologies™ to provide a customer-centric, end-of-life solution for lithium-ion batteries while creating a secondary supply of critical battery materials. Our safe and environmentally sustainable technology can recover up to 95% of critical materials in batteries, including Lithium itself. Our commercially available process produces no wastewater, no direct emissions, and is energy-efficient.
We have already started working on one of our first facilities in Europe in Norway (https://li-cycle.com/norway-spoke/) with Germany Spoke following shortly thereafter (https://li-cycle.com/es/in-the-news/li-cycle-to-reach-65000-mt-battery-recycling-capacity-by-end-2023/), and have plans to scale rapidly to support the creation of a sustainable, resilient, and circular battery supply chain in Europe.
