METRO AG is a leading international player in wholesale and food service distribution. With its sales lines METRO Cash & Carry as well as its other associated companies, METRO AG is present in over 30 countries and employs more than 93,000 people around the world. In 2021/22, METRO AG achieved sales of around €29.7 billion (Adjusted EBITDA €1.3 billion). The company provides solutions to meet the regional and international needs of its customers, mainly independent businesses in the hospitality sector and small traders. The below-mentioned issues are followed in order to contribute to the single market with e-commerce and omni-channel retail and bringing a high level of food safety as well as respecting sustainabilty in retail.
